I’ve often wondered why feminists assert that gender roles are completely a social construct. While I have no doubt that culture plays a huge role in shaping what people feel they are obligated to do is it really a radical idea that hundreds of thousands of years of psychological evolution and key physiological differences may make men and women better suited for certain tasks in society.

With that said, that shouldn’t affect the choices we are allowed to make and anyone should be able to fill whatever societal role they want without coercion.
